Our goal is to ensure you feel genuinely cared and empowered.

Hence, our support is multifaceted and deeply individualised, including but not limited to:

  • Leaving school: For students transitioning from an educational environment, we offer assistance with post-school planning. This can involve exploring further education options, vocational training, or pathways into employment. We help identify your strengths and interests to chart a course that aligns with your future goals.
  • Employment preparation: We provide practical support for those looking to secure employment. This might include assistance with resume building, developing interview skills, job searching strategies, understanding workplace expectations, and even navigating initial workplace adjustments. Our aim is to help you confidently step into your chosen career path.
  • Moving to a new home: Relocating can be a major undertaking. We offer hands-on assistance with all aspects of moving, from planning and packing to settling into your new environment. This includes coordinating with removalists, setting up utilities, familiarising you with your new neighbourhood, and ensuring your new living space meets your needs and preferences.
  • Increasing independence: For individuals striving to enhance their daily living skills and autonomy, we provide tailored programmes. This could involve developing budgeting skills, learning to manage household tasks independently, navigating public transport, or building social confidence to engage more actively in the community.

  • Goal setting: We work collaboratively with you to identify clear, achievable goals for your transition, breaking down larger ambitions into achievable targets.

If you have any other needs, other than those exemplified above, we are here to fully support you. Yes. We support participants with resume writing, interview preparation, understanding workplace expectations, and confidence building. We can also link you to job providers or assist you in transitioning to supported or open employment, always at your pace.

Look under ‘Capacity Building- Support Coordination’ or ‘Capacity Building- Life Stage Transition’ in your current NDIS plan. If you are unsure, we can review your plan with you or help you speak with your Support Coordinator or Local Area Coordinator.
